Open Options partners with Pelco to integrate the DX8100

NPower DNA now interfaces with DX8100 Series Digital Video Recorders

Carrollton, Texas – January 7, 2008: Open Options, Inc. has partnered with Pelco to deliver a seamless interface between the NPower DNA security management system and the Pelco DX8100 series digital video recorders.

This integration project was developed with Pelco's advanced X-Portal API and allows users of the NPower DNA security application to view live or recorded video from any DX8100 on the network thus eliminating the need for multiple monitoring stations and allowing quick access to video from alarms generated in the security management system. Cameras are easily associated with various access points and in the event of an alarm the related video is available with a single click. The system also allows users to determine pre and post recording times for alarm video and supports single and multiple video viewing windows.

Pricing & Availability
The Open Options/Pelco DX8100 Interface (OO-Pelco) is currently available through Open Options Authorized Resellers and works with NPower DNA versions 3.65 and higher.  Contact your Open Options Reseller for pricing information.
